Interoperability & Situational Awareness
Compusult will demonstrate how C-PORTS, through WES technology, fully employs a service-oriented architecture (SOA) and data fusion capabilities for improved leader-centric, net-enabled operations. In addition, the WES Sensor Management (WSM) component supports OGC SWE standards, as well as mass market tools, for access to sensor observations, tasking of sensors, and dissemination of sensor alerts within its standards-based geoportal environment. WES and C-PORTS are currently being used to perform similar tasks for the U.S. DoD and coalition partners. WES has also been used in multinational/multi-agency task force environments for previous CWID, Empire Challenge, and JWID programs.
Web Enterprise
Suite - Technical Architecture
This document describes the high-level architecture
used for the implementation of Web portals based
on Compusult’s Web Enterprise
Suite (WES). The WES infrastructure supports
the integration of multi-source data products
and services and provides enhanced client and
middleware software components that subscribe
to new and updated international specifications.
Enabling
Z39.50 Services for Relational Databases
Many data suppliers whose metadata and data
are maintained in relational database management
systems were having difficulty connecting to
clearinghouses. Consequently, a need was identified
to enable Z39.50 search and retrieval services
for these relational database management systems.
